Our Services

WTA provides quality speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.

Pediatric speech therapy uses play-based and direct therapy techniques to target feeding, swallowing, language, pragmatics, alternative augmentative communication (AAC), auditory habilitation/rehabilitation, fluency, voice, resonance, apraxia, and articulation.

The goal of our team of pediatric speech therapists are to maximize a child’s ability to communicate effectively, using all modalities. We focus on improving verbal and non-verbal communication skills, play and social skills, as well as improving swallowing and feeding abilities to improve overall quality of life in the pediatric population.

The pediatric speech therapists at WTA aim to increase a child’s confidence and abilities across all age ranges. We adapt to fit each child’s unique needs to maximize progress.

Pediatric Physical Therapy focuses on developing mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance in order for a child to be successful at home, in the community, and in school.

Our pediatric Physical Therapists treat children for various reasons including gross motor delays, bone/muscle issues, genetic, brain, spine, or nerve disorders.

A child’s occupation is to play and learn. Our occupational therapists utilize a play-based sensory motor focused approach to treatment. Through play, children learn how to interact with the world and form the appropriate reactions.

Occupational Therapists work with children with various diagnoses including fine motor delays, ASD, ADHD, genetic disorders, visual deficits, dyslexia, and general delays in developmental milestones.

Occupational Therapy services focus on improving a child’s foundational skills for participation in the home, school, and the community through the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing skills, attention, coordination, strength, and age-appropriate self help skills such as self feeding and grooming.

AT WTA, our Occupational Therapists work with children as they learn through play in a large, multi-sensory gym to maximize a child’s full potential.
