Samantha Thomas

COTA Samantha is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and received her Associate in Applied Science from Darton State College in Albany, Georgia in 2013. Samantha’s areas of interest are sensory integration, developmental therapy, Neuro-sensory-motor and rhythmic movement reflex integration for infants and children. She has experience in outpatient clinic setting for adults and pediatrics, in school systems, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and Inpatient ventilator programs as well as acute/subacute rehabilitation in the hospital setting. She has a passion for helping kids and families to be able to participate in everyday activities especially in sensory processing.  Samantha is active in furthering her skill set via continuing education classes and the obtaining of specialized certifications whenever possible. Outside of her work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and taking trips home to Georgia to visit more family. She also loves day trips to the beach, traveling, gardening, painting/ artsy things, and watching/attending Braves baseball games!
